The Robert Moses Power Dam, owned by the New York Power Authority, is situated on the St. Lawrence River between Cornwall, Ontario and Massena, New York.  During routine inspections by power authority officials, it was discovered several construction joints located at the training wall were leaking and causing deterioration of surface concrete at the joint line due to freezing of the water in the concrete during wintertime.  The power authority decided to have the leaks repaired.

After submitting a proposal specifying a two-component polyurethane waterstop resin with elastomeric properties and a water-soluble, acrylate-ester resin for sealing joints and cracks, Jean’s Waterproofing was awarded the contract to first stop the leaks and then repair the damage caused by the,.  The project was a success.
